What This Role Looks Like

As a Team Leader, you will help lead the restaurant during your shift. You will support the team, keep the shift organized, make sure food is served with quality and consistency, and help create a great experience for every guest.

You are someone who can hold people accountable while still showing kindness, respect, and patience. You understand that strong leadership means both setting clear expectations and helping people grow into what they are capable of becoming.

You enjoy seeing people succeed under pressure. You communicate clearly, lead by example, and help your team understand not just what needs to be done, but why it matters.

You also understand the value of systems. Checklists, food orders, inventory, cleaning standards, and accountability tools are not a burden to you. You see them as structure that helps the team succeed and keeps the restaurant running with consistency.

Responsibilities

As a Team Leader, you will be expected to:

Lead the team with a service-first, team-first mindset
Set the tone for the shift through attitude, work ethic, and communication
Help Team Members feel supported, prepared, and empowered
Hold the team accountable with respect, kindness, and clarity
Make sure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet Bigham’s standards
Keep the shift organized and help the team stay focused under pressure
Communicate clearly with Team Members and management
Lead by example in every task, including serving food, cleaning, stocking, and helping where needed
Use checklists, systems, food orders, inventory, and other tools to keep the restaurant running well
Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
Support training and development of Team Members
Make sure guests are served with genuine hospitality and care
Represent Bigham’s values of Excellence, Consistency, Loyalty, and Service

What We’re Looking For

A strong candidate is someone who is:

Mature, dependable, and responsible
A clear communicator
Team-oriented and willing to serve others
Able to lead by example
Comfortable holding others accountable
Kind, respectful, and steady under pressure
Teachable and open to feedback
Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Able to stand for up to 8 hours at a time
Able to lift, carry, or pull heavy objects when needed
Willing to complete or maintain a Manager Food Safety Certification

Leadership experience is preferred, but we are also interested in people with strong character, high ownership, and the desire to grow as a leader.

Schedule

This is a full-time leadership position. Hours may vary based on restaurant needs and availability. Daytime, evening, and weekend availability is preferred.
